Welcome to Camp Rock Week 10: "Holiday Craze"

Today was "Christmas Eve" at Camp Rock. Campers made Christmas crafts, sang songs, and had a jolly-ole-time!
We can't wait for more exciting fun tomorrow! Campers also enjoyed horsemanship and visiting the Raven's Training Camp! Click here for our album where photos will be added from the trip today and tomorrow!

The Camp Rock Summer Photo Shop is open. Check out the custom gifts you can buy using your summer memories. On August 19th attending campers will have their yearbook photo taken.

Week 11 Raven's Trip- Ages 8-12 Tomorrow!
Week 11 Date Change: Campers ages 6-7 yrs. registered for the Week 11 trip will attend Wednesday's Raven's Training Camp click here to see if your camper is registered to attend and whether or not the Ravens have received your waivers.

We will not be returning to camp until 5:30 pm on the day your camper is scheduled to attend the trip. Please plan for a later pick up time.

Items Needed for Field Trip:

All campers must have completed two liability waivers. Click here for each one and forward a copy of the confirmation to office@camprockmd.com:

Please wear a Ravens shirt or Camp Rock Shirt. No other teams allowed. We're eating lunch at camp before heading out for the trip. Please wear athletic shoes for their Kidz Zone. Autographs are possible, but not guaranteed. We will not be returning to camp until 5:30 PM
This Week's Week #10 Field Trip
THURSDAY!
This Week's Field Trip: This week's Week #10 field trip will be held on Thursday. Campers pre-registered to attend the trip will go to The Go Kart Track, Inc.

Items Needed for Field Trip: Bag Lunch, Sunscreen, Water Bottle, Play Clothes, Athletic Shoes. No flip flops for this trip! They do have an arcade, snack shop, and snowball stand if campers want to bring spending money. Campers attending the trip do not need to wear their swimsuits.

Please note that some specialty classes will occur across multiple days due to the number of participants. The day listed will be the PRIMARY DAY for the class where the majority of campers will participate.

  • Tuesday: Horsemanship; Video Production; Swim Lessons for Ages 6-7 yrs. (Ravens Field Trip Ages 8-9)
  • Wednesday: Wheel Day, Video Production; Ravens Field Trip (Ages 6-7) Swim Lessons for Ages 4-5 yrs.
  • Thursday: Go Kart & Golf Field Trip (Ages 6-12)
  • Friday: Martial Arts; Swim Lessons for Ages 10-12 yrs.

CELL PHONE NOTICE FOR CAMPERS
For those who may not be aware, Camp Rock has a "No Cell Phone Policy!"

We have addressed our staff to make sure they are enforcing this policy with their campers. If you need to reach your camper while they are here, please call 410-665-7461. If they need to reach you, we will gladly provide them with time to call home.

We do understand that some campers may have their own phones; however, these phones are not to be out during camp. We will not be responsible for lost, broken, or stolen phones.

Thank you for understanding and adhering to this policy!

IMPORTANT GENERAL CAMP DETAILS
DROP OFF & PICK UP VIDEO INSTRUCTIONS (CLICK IMAGE)

Extended Care Hours:

Before Care: 7:00 am - 7:30 am
After Care: 4:15 pm- 6:00 pm
(Please pull up and contact the camp office at (410)-665-7461 to sign your camper in our out for Extended Care)

Regular Camp Hours:
Curbside Drop Off: 8:00-8:30 am
Curbside Pick Up: 4:00-4:15 pm

Please move slowly and follow the two-way traffic patterns and adhere to all traffic lanes, signs and barriers. These systems are in place to protect your children.

Please see the above drop off pattern flow, and or read through your parent/camper handbook to observe any additional traffic patterns, as well as any directives in regards to drop off and pick up time frames, policies, and late fees.

CAMPER DAILY ROUTINES AND SPECIAL NOTES:

Sunscreen:
Please be sure to apply your campers first application of sunscreen in the morning prior to attending camp. This helps to ensure they stay protected throughout the day and gives time for absorption.

Water Bottles:
Please be sure to bring your water bottle filled to start your campers hydration pattern for the day.

Medication:
Any medication that a camper will need to be administered during the camp day will need to be turned in to camp staff immediately, and must contain the original prescription box/bag with a legible prescription label and an accompanying medication authorization form signed by the prescribing physician.

Swimsuits:
We ask that campers wear their swimsuits under their clothing when arriving to camp to help jump start transitions. Reminder that only full one piece swimsuits or tankinis covering the mid section are permitted. Also a reminder to bring a plastic bag for your camper to place their wet items in.

Blankets
Campers ages 4 & 5 may bring a blanket for reading & rest time!
Camper Profile Pictures Required to Be Sent In!
All campers' are required to have a full frontal profile picture on file. If you did not include a photo in your camper's application, please forward a photo in email or bring one to with your camper. Email them to office@camprockmd.com
and be sure to include their name or upload them to your campers online portal.
