Go Digital Easthampton

E•Media Helps to Bridge the Digital Divide

E•Media has been instrumental in implementing this initiative for the city through partnerships with the Easthampton Council on Aging,

the Public Library, and The Tech Foundry.

The Go Digital Easthampton initiative continues to provide essential digital literacy training, ensuring that technology remains accessible to all.

We’ve been offering classes on Chromebook basics, email, internet navigation, and online safety. We've also introduced the Northstar Learning Platform to help learners track their progress and build confidence in their digital skills. In addition, our new device lending program allows residents to borrow a Chromebook or WiFi hotspot, making it easier to continue their learning from home.

Looking ahead, we plan to expand our programming to reach more residents, introduce new topics such as mobile device usage and online accessibility tools, and strengthen our support for those who may feel left behind in an increasingly digital world. By growing this initiative, we aim to empower our community with the skills needed to stay connected, informed, and engaged.

Naomi Henderson

November-December 2024

Origins-

“This series of paintings arose out of a need to play and experiment with the material of oil paint. Play is the central approach for this series of paintings. I found it incredibly freeing to let go of representational work, and to simply live into color, movement and form for its own beauty.” -Naomi Henderson
