There is also a new members handbook on the EGO Chapter Website. We are in the process of updating it, but its purpose is to answer many questions about EGO and will give you the latest copy of the chapter bylaws, Soror Code of Ethics, as well as information on our programs. A mentor will be assigned to you and a New Member Orientation will be scheduled. You will receive an email with more details on the date, time and location.

EGO COMMUNICATIONS AND TECHNOLOGY
You are now set up to receive our weekly emails which are sent every Thursday and are full of vital information. You will also be added to our systems to receive online surveys, Evites and signups. If you provided your telephone number, you are set up to receive telephone calls from our calling system. Please note that the phone number of the calling system is 256.518.9616.
Also, bookmark our website: EGO Chapter Website. Once we receive your financial card number from the Pecunious Grammateus, you will receive a message from the webmaster to register for your account in our "Members Only" section. Follow the instructions at: Navigating the EGO Website to create your EGO website account. Once you have created your account, send an email to the EGO Webmaster (webmaster@aka-egochapter.org) to request to be added to the "Members Only" Section.
Once you have successfully logged into the website, click on "Members" from the tool bar at the top of the web page. Then click on "My Profile". The instructions can be found at: Update Your Profile Make sure you complete your profile and upload a picture. This profile information is used to create the EGO Chapter Directory which is an invaluable tool in helping you get to know the other 465+ EGO sorors.
We ask that you use the same email address for all chapter business. It is preferred that you do not use a work email because of all of the security features and filters that might be applied.
You can view the directory at this link: EGO Online Chapter Directory Your information will not immediately appear in the online directory. After the Technology Committee refreshes the directory, your information will be visible.
