Dear New EPIC Charter School Families,

We are so honored you have chosen EPIC Charter Schools as your children’s school for the 2021-2022 school year! As superintendent, I want to be the first to welcome you to the EPIC family and to assure you that we will do everything in our power to make sure your children are successful in the coming school year.

As a new family to EPIC, we know you likely have a lot of questions. Throughout the summer, we will be sending you information on topics we know will be good resources for you. Expect an email from us about every week on such topics as what the various departments are within EPIC and how they serve children, how our teachers regularly interact with students to facilitate learning; how to be successful in an online environment, what pacing is and why it’s important, tutoring, how to use and build your child’s Learning Fund; deciding on what curriculum will best meet your child’s needs, and so much more. Click HERE to learn more about the curriculum options for this school year.

You can also expect the teacher assigned to your child to reach out to you later this summer to schedule your first meeting. Most teachers do this in late July through August. If you have not been contacted by a teacher by mid-August, please contact the school. EPIC’s 2021-2022 school year officially begins on Tuesday, September 7.

We will also mail to your homes, later this summer, a welcome packet from the school, which will include our school calendar, a pacing guide, and a departmental contact list – all resources you’ll want to keep somewhere handy to refer back to throughout the school year.

Below you will find links to all of our social media. We encourage you to start following us to stay up-to-date on all EPIC news. So don’t miss out - follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!

Again, welcome to EPIC! We are so very excited about serving your family in the 2021-2022 school year and look forward to communicating with you regularly throughout this summer.

Sincerely,

Bart Banfield, Superintendent
