WarmLine Connections / September 2022

Dear families,

It’s with mixed emotions that I share the news of my departure from WarmLine.  Leading WarmLine the past two years to serve families in our region has been an honor and labor of love. I am so proud of all that we have accomplished together, including the

establishment of WarmLine as a Family Empowerment Center in serving children and young adults ages 3-22.

I was introduced to WarmLine as the parent of a child with multiple disabilities, and will always remain a part of the WarmLine family. I am immensely grateful to our staff and the community partners I have been able to collaborate with and learn from. I will take these invaluable experiences with me as I return to state government to serve in the new role of State Chief Equity Officer. I look forward to seeing and supporting WarmLine’s continued success and growth!

With gratitude,

Pam Chueh

Mind The Gap Program

  • Participants must have a child birth to 8 years old with a suspected or recent diagnosis and live in Sacramento or Yolo county.

  • The Mind the Gap program offers 12 flexible peer coaching sessions (about 10 hours total) to help families learn about their child's needs and diagnosis, how to get connected with services, and reach their individualized goals.

  • WarmLine’s Peer Navigators are trained in the Mind the Gap program and bring their own expertise as parents of children with disabilities.
