Greetings!
I am pleased to announce our acquisition of TaxMasters and I want to congratulate Marlene, Daniel and Anh on a very successful career and best wishes as they turn to the next chapter in life.

My tax and accounting career began as a college student at Southwestern Oklahoma State University where I worked part-time at a local CPA firm preparing income taxes while going to school full-time. I earned my Bachelors of Science, Business Administration-Accounting degree in 2000.

After graduating, I worked in the areas of finance, tax, accounting and audit for regional CPA firms until purchasing my first tax and accounting firm in 2004. Click here to view more about my background or visit our website www.fleming-advisors.com to learn more about what we have to offer, our team and more.

It's important for you to know that my firm is not a large corporate chain. Our team consists of 15 of the most sincere and amazing people you will meet!

Since the purchase of my first firm, our growth has been predominantly internal, stemming from the referrals of our client base and those of other professionals. The growth and development of our team has evolved in a similar manner.

We have attracted high-quality, committed professionals and invested in their training, development and growth.

As a result, we have experienced steady growth over the past several years. This has been in no small way also directly related to the success our clients have had in their business and personal pursuits.

TaxMasters shares the same core values that my team and I do. Over the past few years, I conducted an extensive search within our region looking for an opportunity like this. TaxMasters exceeded our hopes for a firm with clients we can service and continue the tradition we have for excellent service, deep expertise, and an environment our clients and associates want to be a part of.

While COVID-19 has caused much disruption and change, including how TaxMasters and other tax practices do business; there are a few things I want to point out that will not change and are key to a successful transition:

  • Our fee structure will not change.
  • The services we have provided you in the past will continue.
  • Fleming Advisors utilizes the same tax software as TaxMasters, ensuring a seamless transition of critical tax items such as depreciation, basis, carry forwards, etc.

The existing TaxMaster phone number will continue to work or you can contact us at 855-877-9807 during normal office hours (8am-5pm Mon-Fri). You can also email us at: taxmasters@fleming-advisors.com

If you have any questions about this exciting news and what it will mean for you, please contact any of us at any time.

I look forward to working with you!

All the best,

Christopher Fleming, EA

We're Open for Business, Just Not in Person.
While COVID-19 has forced us to eliminate in person appointments, what we learned from the 2020 tax season was that most people preferred to just send in their documents and have their taxes completed. This actually resulted in much faster turn-around times and worked well.

Therefore, no scheduled appointments are required this year. If you have any questions or concerns, we ask that you simply send a note along with your documents so we can contact you when preparing your return.

See below for the various ways you can send your documents to us.
Many ways to send us your tax documents.
Upload your Tax Documents to us 24/7 Directly from your Secure Client Portal.
This is the safest, most secure and our preferred method.

We take the protection of our clients identity seriously because we know identity thieves are constantly on the hunt to steal it.

This is why we offer secure Client Portals. Using the same level of encryption and security as online banking, secure Client Portals offer a way for our clients to conduct business with us 24/7 from anywhere they have an internet connection.

You will soon receive an email from (no-reply@thomsonreuters.com). This is an automated email from our tax software with a link to create your secure client portal. Instructions will be included in the email and the setup is very easy.

Once your portal is setup, we will begin adding a feature to it called "File Exchange". This feature allows you to securely upload any document directly to us from the comfort of your home. Once you upload your documents, our team is immediately notified that a document was received and who it was received from.

We are still in the process of setting the Client Portals up and adding the File Exchange feature. Once the process is complete we will send more information about how to use the File Exchange feature.
