Dear Healthcare Leaders,
I hope that you all have enjoyed this summer and that the transition into your new fall routine will be a positive one. I’m personally looking forward to the weather and the traditions that the season brings.
Earlier this summer, our HLNDV Board of Directors conducted our annual planning meeting to update our multi-year strategic plan for 2018 to 2020 and focus on innovative strategies to support our mission. A few of the members of our Board will also be traveling to the ACHE Chapter Leaders Conference in Chicago in the next few weeks, and will bring back strategies to further support our efforts to provide value to you as chapter members. We plan to share more details about these efforts at our upcoming Annual Meeting.
As always, we have many excellent events that will occur this fall. Our HLNDV Annual Meeting will be hosted by KPMG during the evening of October 2. The event will outline chapter highlights and goals, include the presentation of the HLNDV Administrative Achievement Award and ACHE Service Awards, as well as a focused discussion on leading transformation in healthcare. In November, we will offer a great learning opportunity for those exploring their career path. And, later this fall, we will present our 11
th
annual Lee White Innovation Institute. For more information on these and other events, please visit our
HLNDV website
.
Finally, I would like to encourage you to take the opportunity to lead by getting involved with a volunteer effort. HLNDV offers many great community service activities throughout the year, as well as the option to join a committee that supports our efforts. Please see our
Events
page on our website for service opportunities, or, contact our
Volunteer Coordinator
if you would like to get involved with one of our committees.
Thank you!
