Your conditions will be explained in both your letter of acceptance and on your
To-Do List in MyBuckeyelink.

*Students will be removed from the program for failure to successfully complete program prerequisites.*
Review Your Credit Evaluation
If you are a new student at Ohio State and have transferred credits to the university, please take time to review your Transfer Credit Report.

Any courses listed as "S000.00 or G000.00" require further evaluation to be used towards your degree.

*We understand this can be a confusing process. We will discuss this more in your Advising appointment.*

  • You will need to know if you are on GEL or GEN Curriculum
  • GEL: Students who started at OSU before Autumn 2022

  • See Page 2 on all guides for a sample schedule. A more detailed plan for your particular track is available via the link at the end of the second paragraph under the sample schedule.
  • These guides are just a starting point. Each student has a unique academic path so it is ok to deviate from these guides as needed. Please consult with your advisor if you have questions.

  • Waitlist Full Courses:
  • If a course you would like to take fills up please ADD YOURSELF TO THE WAITLIST.
  • This is the best way for our department to gauge the demand for a course and add more seats/sections.
  • If you are enrolling in an online section and get an error message saying, Remaining seats are reserved and you do not meet reserve capacity requirements, either choose an alternative section or add yourself to the waitlist.
  • Here is a guide to show you how to add yourself to the waitlist.
