Welcome to Idaho State University!
Our vision is to be the University of choice for tomorrow’s leaders, providing access for student learning and discovery, engaging communities, and creating opportunities for our students to succeed. We are working to unite around this mission and build a campus environment where trust, compassion, stability, and hope exists for our employees and students. We believe that every member of our Bengal family is talented, and has a lot to offer our students and campus community. With that in mind, ISU is on a journey to build a strengths-based institution. Your role as a faculty member is critical to the success of our students, and we are excited that you have chosen to be a part of our Bengal community!

To facilitate a smooth transition into your position, we want you to have all the information, access, and materials you need for success. Generally, if you are a 9-month faculty member, your contract is scheduled to start on August 15 and your first day of work is Monday, August 16. As a courtesy, as long as new hire paperwork is completed on time, we will start issuing you a paycheck as of August 20, 2021, and provide you early system access to Idaho State email and Moodle, our online course development platform, to ensure sufficient time for you to prepare for the fall semester. If your start date differs from August 16, please contact the HR office for specific payroll information.
In order to provide this system access prior to your start date, if you have not already done so, we need you to complete your new hire paperwork no later than Monday, July 26.
