LIGHT A CANDLE today to pray for Our Lady's intercession

Experience the Basilica Shrine

Longtime devotees of Our Lady's Shrine and first-time visitors alike are invited to experience the Basilica Shrine anew starting April 30. Join us daily for Holy Mass as we recite the Papal Decree of Concession through which the Shrine has been granted the title Minor Basilica, and view the distinctive appointments that signify the Shrine's elevated link with the Supreme Pontiff, including the crossed keys of St. Peter, the ombrellino, the tintinnabulum, and the celebrant's chair.

May Procession

at the Basilica Shrine

Join us at the Basilica Shrine on Monday, May 1, for our annual May Procession, an immersive spiritual rite to usher in the month of Mary by praying the Holy Rosary. This year's procession will also be the public's first chance to experience our Blessed Mother through our newly installed St. Vincent's Rosary Walk and Our Lady of Knock Shrine.

Lent: Through the

Eyes of Mary

Our original video series, "Lent: Through the Eyes of Mary," concludes on Easter Sunday, April 9, but all 18 episodes will remain available on demand through the Basilica Shrine's website and YouTube channel. There is no fee to view the series, which is an enlightening introduction to the 16 Vatican-approved Earthly apparitions of the Blessed Mother, informing us how to live her message during Lent and throughout the year.

Keep the Easter Message Alive Year Round

The mystery of Christ calls us to live His message in our own lives. Pray the Rosary and wear Mary’s Miraculous Medal encircled with the Crown of Thorns as remembrances of Jesus’ love and Mary's intercession.

Name That Saint

What patron saint of architects is distinguished in the Bible for his initial skepticism toward the resurrection of Jesus Christ? Later, he travelled far outside the Roman Empire to preach the Gospel, reaching southern India in AD 52, for which he is also known as the patron of Christians in India.
