News from Eliot Chapel

Dear friends,

It is my great pleasure to share with you that India Braddock will be our new Director of Business Administration. India will bring her rich experience in administration, finance and business operations, property management and more in the service of our beloved community and its mission to love courageously, grow spiritually, and engage in compassionate action.

I am excited for her to take her place on our staff team and to work with her. I am particularly pleased that we have someone of such high calibre to take on this lead staff position while I am on Sabbatical next winter, January through April 2027. Eliot Chapel will be in competent hands.

I am also very thankful that India Braddock and Brian Franklin, our outgoing DBA, will have two weeks together to ensure a seamless transition.

When you cross paths with India, please offer her a warm welcome.

And don’t forget Brian Franklin’s farewell party on Wednesday, October 21 at 11:45. Please no presents, just your presence as we share our gratitude for the exceptional heartfelt service he has offered this community for three years. We are stronger for his presence and we will become stronger yet with India Braddock carrying the mantle forward.

Yours in faith and love,

Rev. Krista Taves

Dear Eliot Chapel community,

I'm India Braddock, and I'm thrilled to join the staff as your new Director of Business Administration. I live here in Kirkwood with my husband, Errin, and our son, Parker.

For 13 years, I co-led a small business I helped found, overseeing operations and finances until we sold the company a few years ago. Today I volunteer with SCORE, mentoring local entrepreneurs.

I was drawn to Eliot's mission of courageous love, spiritual growth, and compassionate action, and to a congregation that lives its values out loud. I'm honored to help care for the resources that keep that mission thriving.

Please stop by and say hello. I look forward to learning your names and your stories.

Warmly,

India Braddock
