Event Description:
For June's Event Series, we invite you to enjoy a Psychedelic Networking Community Event curated to bring together individuals who share an interest in psychedelics, whether for personal growth, therapeutic use, research, or cultural exploration. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what you can expect:
- Networking: Connect with like-minded individuals within our ever-expanding community.
- Education: Share knowledge and personal stories of this incredible medicines and therapies.
- Community Building: Foster a sense of belonging among community members who are passionate about these life-saving treatments.
From individuals who are curious about the benefits of innovative therapies, to therapists, activists, and those who practice within the healing arts - this event will surely ignite your curiosity, connection and celebration of our incredible community in Northern Nevada.
All in attendance will surely leave with new insights of one another while deepening their connection within our community.
Join Roy Marchbanks, First Responder Advocate, SPS Board Member and Integration Facilitator as he facilitates this unique and dynamic community experience.
About Roy:
Roy is a retired Reno Fire Captain who has dedicated over 35 years to serving the Reno and Sparks communities. Born and raised in Colorado, Roy brings a grounded, service-oriented perspective to his work. As an advocate for the therapeutic potential of psychedelic medicine, he believes deeply in the power of healing, connection, and supporting mental health.

Solstice Cacao, Rock Art & Sound Healing Ceremony
with Grace Moore, Charmi Casino, and Kelly Basallo
Join us for Solstice Cacao, Rock Art & Sound Healing Ceremony with Grace Moore, Charmi Casino, and Kelly Basallo on June 14th.
As the sun reaches its peak, we gather in ceremony to reflect, release, and renew. This immersive workshop offers a blend of ritual, sound healing, creativity, and connection—inviting you to honor both the grief of what has been and the beauty of what is emerging.
Guided by the heart-opening power of cacao and the soothing vibrations of sound, you’ll create story-painted rocks inspired by Aboriginal traditions—exploring personal journeys of letting go and welcoming transformation. This is a space for both/and: sorrow and celebration, shadow and light, memory and intention.
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, eye mask, or anything else to create your cozy nest. All art supplies and a light snack will be provided.
This experience is designed to nourish your body, mind, and spirit as we honor the Solstice with healing sound, creativity, and integration.
Your registration also includes the option to stay for an integration circle, led by Charmi, from 5:30-7:00 PM at The Studio Reno.
SPACE IS LIMITED — RSVP by June 11th to reserve your spot.

About The Artwork
Wings of Resonance is a 15-foot butterfly, emerging from a mirrored chrysalis—made from reclaimed vinyl records, polished steel and 42 glowing infinity mirror panels. It’s a monument to transformation, reflection and self-discovery —coming to life at Burning Man 2025.
This sculpture has officially been selected for the 2025 Black Rock City Honoraria Grant, but here’s the thing—the grant only covers 20% of the total cost. We need your help to raise the rest and make this vision real. Learn more here.
