Greetings KVA Families!
We are just a few days from launching the 2022- 2023 school year! We are hard at work getting ready to welcome all our amazing Visionary scholars for the 2022-2023 school year and can’t wait to have them walk through our school doors.
In preparation for the upcoming school year, below are a few key updates to ensure you have everything you need to help your scholar have an amazing start to the school year.
Lower School Visionary Academy
On Monday, July 31st, all 5th grade scholars will return to school for New KIPPster Orientation. Orientation will be from 7:45 am - 3:45 pm.
Traditional Hours Begin
On Tuesday, August 1st, we will begin our traditional school hours from 7:45 am - 3:45 pm on Monday – Thursday and 7:45 am - 1:45 pm on Friday.
Before & After-Care: Vertical Thinking
We will be partnering with Vertical Thinking this year to provide care before school and after-school care as our onsite preferred provider. For more information and to sign-up, please visit https://www.verticalthinkingteam.org/register.

Meet Your KIPPster’s Teacher Night (MYKTN)
5th - 8th grade families, please join us on Thursday, July 27th, to meet your scholar’s teachers and learn more about what to expect for the upcoming school year.
On this day, you can expect to receive important materials as well as any additional uniform items you may need.

Uniforms
The KVA school uniform consists of:
- Any KVA top (polo, t-shirt, cardigan, etc.)
- Navy bottoms (shorts and skirts must come to top of knee, or pants)
- Any shoe that encloses the entire foot
All scholars will receive 1 free summer school shirt at MYKTN.
