Introduction to Protest Chaplaincy
In the political and emotional climate many of us are experiencing today, this webinar explores the role clergy and lay leaders can play in supporting those who are marginalized and those working on the front lines of justice movements.
The presentation and resources are available in the MCC Resource Bank and can be accessed using the link below. Resources are available in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and German.
We extend our sincere thanks to Rev. Dr. Kerr Mesner, Rev. John Magisano, Rev. Dr. Carla Sherrell, and Rev. Joseph Livingston for their commitment to attending the original training and for generously sharing their knowledge by creating this resource for others.

Answer the Call: Invest in Future MCC Leaders
REVM 2026 (Readiness to Enter Vocational Ministry)
Did you know that approximately 20 MCC churches around the globe do not have a Senior Pastor? Did you know we have two new Emergying Churches in Africa?
Every MCC pastor, chaplain, and ministry leader begins with a call. REVM helps emerging leaders discern that call by providing mentoring, guidance, and practical tools as they prepare for vocational ministry and continue their journey toward ordination.
In 2026, REVMs are being planned to equip future MCC leaders in Africa, Mexico, and the United States, helping strengthen the church's ministry for years to come.
Our goal is to raise $25,000 (USD) to make these programs possible. Thanks to generous donors, the first $12,500 has already been committed as a matching gift. That means every dollar you give will be matched—doubling your impact—until we reach the remaining $12,500.
Will you invest in the next generation of MCC leaders? Your gift will help ensure that those called to ministry receive the support, training, and encouragement they need to discern, prepare, and serve.

2026 MCC Brazil PAD National Conference
A Message From Rev. Gustavo Silva
Senior Pastor – Metropolitan Community Church of Rio de Janeiro
Leader of the ICM Central-South Network of Brazil
The Peace of Jesus be with you!
With hearts full of gratitude, we are pleased to share that the photo album from the 2026 MCC Brazil PAD National Conference – "ALIVE! Black Bodies, Justice, and Faith" is now available.
The conference was coordinated by Phee Mabel, Rev. Gustavo Silva, and Pastor Léo Rossetti, and was a tremendous blessing for our churches, bringing together faith, justice, scholarship, and community. The event concluded with the Clergy Ordination Service of Rev. Handré Garcia, who now serves as Associate Pastor of MCC Rio.
We were honored by the participation of many distinguished guests, including Councilwoman Benny Briolly, the first transgender member of the Rio de Janeiro State Legislature; Pastor Marco Davi, of Nossa Igreja Brasileira; Dr. Jaqueline Gomes de Jesus, of the Federal Institute of Rio de Janeiro (IFRJ); Dr. Juliana Farias, of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ); Pastor Fabíola Oliveira and Pastor Júlio Oliveira, of the Baptist Community Church in São Gonçalo; and MCC Brazil clergy including Rev. Igor Simões (MCC Fortaleza), Rev. Christiano Valério (MCC São Paulo), Rev. Willams da Silva (MCC Cabedelo), Pastor Letícia Souza, Pastor Rick Souza, and Deacon Mariah Moreno (MCC Sol da Justiça), along with many other clergy, artists, researchers, and community leaders.
The photo album is now available, and additional photos will continue to be added over the coming days.
