Fellowship Sunday

Learn How Your Gifts Make a Difference!

MCC Flourish Leadership Development Program

Planting Seeds Around the World!

Fifty-eight years ago, Rev. Troy Perry dreamed of a church where everyone could experience God’s love and be welcomed just as they are. Today, that vision has grown into a global movement sharing inclusive love and working for social justice around the world.

Each October, we celebrate Rev. Troy Perry’s vision and the ministry we share as Metropolitan Community Churches. Fellowship Sunday is an opportunity to celebrate our journey, give generously, and invest in MCC’s future.

Together, we honor the vision, celebrate our shared ministry, and help build a strong and vibrant future for MCC.

To learn more about how your donations make a difference, please use visit the UFMCC website at the link below.

What is Partners in Hope and

How can you become a member?

Partners in Hope are people who have committed to making regular monthly gifts—above and beyond what they give to their local churches—because they believe in helping MCC thrive beyond the walls of their own church, community, network, or country.

Because of the generosity of our Partners in Hope, MCC can provide resources that help churches and individuals share the radically inclusive love of God with LGBTQ+ and other marginalized people around the world.

Your monthly gift helps lay the foundation for transformation, inclusion, and justice across our global MCC community.

.

Partners in Hope make MCC's ministry

possible every month.

Through faithful monthly giving, Partners in Hope provide 9.2% of MCC's annual operating support. Together, these gifts provide the dependable resources that allow MCC to serve our churches, clergy, lay leaders, and communities around the world.

9.2% of MCC's Operating Support

More than one out of every eleven dollars supporting MCC's annual operating budget comes from Partners in Hope. Your monthly gifts provide a strong and dependable foundation for our shared ministry.

Almost $7,000 Every Month

Together, Partners in Hope provide approximately $6,934 each month to sustain MCC's ongoing work. Recurring gifts give MCC the stability to plan ahead, respond to emerging needs, and invest in ministry throughout the year.

Supporting Churches and Leaders

Your generosity helps MCC equip congregations, support clergy and lay leaders, develop resources, strengthen networks, and provide guidance when churches need assistance.

Connecting a Global Community

Partners in Hope help sustain the people, communications, technology, translation, and relationships that connect MCC across countries, cultures, and communities.

You can download the PiH brochure using this LINK below to learn more. Please consider becoming a Partner in Hope member as we contiune supporting the important work of MCC around the world.

A Special Message from Rev. Wanda Floyd

Emerging Churches and Spiritual Communities: The Impact Partners in Hope Are Making Around the World

Take a moment to hear how being a Partner in Hope can help the Mission of MCC and watch the video from Rev. Wanda Floyd.

What is an Emerging Church and Spiritual Communities?

Emerging Churches in MCC

An Emerging Church in MCC is a developing ministry that has received official authorization to begin forming a new MCC congregation. It moves through a structured process of discernment and formation—beginning with an initial concept and small-group gatherings, growing into community building and public worship, and ultimately preparing for affiliation as a recognized MCC church.

MCC Spiritual Communities

MCC Spiritual Communities are small gatherings where people come together to find connection, belonging, spiritual nourishment, and care.

Celebrating MCC Churches, Clergy and Lay Leaders for their work in the community!

MCC Flourish is honored and excited to highlight the leadership within MCC. The work of MCC is not confined to a building; it reaches into communities and extends around the globe.

We invite you to share your story and your work—or to lift up someone whose contributions should be recognized—by emailing Flourish@mccchurch.net.

This month, we recognize

Rev. Elder Rich Hendricks

Senior Pastor (He/Him)

and

MCC of the Quad Cities

As you heard in Rev. Wanda’s video, MCC is growing around the world!

Each Emerging Church is partnered with an established church to help provide mentorship, support, and encouragement as they grow toward becoming an affiliated church within MCC.

Rev. Elder Rich and MCC of the Quad Cities have taken on this role by partnering with Shalom MCC, an Emerging Church in Western Uganda, Africa, led by Pastor Johnprosper Kyomujuni.

Through this partnership and mentoring relationship, both churches have the opportunity to learn and grow together while providing the support needed as Shalom MCC works toward becoming an affiliated church within MCC.

Please keep both churches, their leaders, and their congregations in your prayers.

If you have questions about Emerging Churches or would like to learn more about how you can support them, please contact Rev. Wanda Floyd at Rev.WandaFloyd@mccchurch.net.

Thank you, Rev. Rich and MCC of the Quad Cities, for taking on this important role of leading more people toward the open, affirming, and inclusive love of MCC. Your ministry and commitment help create a place where everyone can feel welcomed, valued, and loved.
