| | But First, a Little About MUSD | | |
Manteca Unified School District's goal is to help every student learn. We use clear goals and data to guide our work, making sure students can meet grade-level standards, feel safe, and get the support they need. We firmly believe that every student can achieve at grade level. There are two phrases you will here frequently: Grade-level standards and Growth.
Grade-level standards are clear learning goals that define what students should know and be able to do at each grade level in core subjects like math, English language arts, science, and social studies.
We define Growth as the journey of making steady progress towards the standard—staying on track, meeting important milestones, and building the skills needed not only for success this year, but every year after that as well.
We also plan carefully how we use money. Our three-year strategic plan, called the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP), makes sure every dollar has a purpose based on student needs. This smart planning has also helped MUSD earn global recognition for keeping a balanced budget.

2025-26
Bell Schedules
Each school in Manteca Unified School District establishes their annual bell schedule in response to the unique needs of their students and school communities. As such, some schools have implemented Early Release Wednesdays.
| | | |
Lunch & Nutrition
For ALL students in Manteca Unified, breakfast and lunch are free!
Elementary students will be offered breakfast in their classroom and lunch is served in the cafeteria. Those enrolled in the after-school program receive a snack and supper. High schoolers can get meals in the cafeteria and cruiser carts around campus.

Standards-Based
Report Cards
We use Standards-Based Report Cards in TK-6 grade to show student progress. This is intended to provide you with more information on how your children are performing academically.
For grades 7-12, a traditional report card is used as grades and GPA are referenced for college admissions.
