The Marinette School District and the Marinette Menominee YMCA are excited to offer parents a Before School Care program in addition to the After School Care program that we currently have. The before school program will be housed at the middle school and students will be bussed to their elementary schools for the start of the school day. The after school program will be housed at the high school. Students will take the bus from their elementary school to the high school at the end of the day. You can begin registering for this awesome opportunity on August 19 on the YMCA website.

In an effort to be more green, we are now sending out all flyers digitally.

Internet Safety

When I was growing up, one of the most difficult talks for a parent to have with their child was about the “birds and the bees.” Today, since kids access the Internet and connect with peers through more devices and apps than ever before, Internet safety has become the new “talk” that parents must have with their children. Not sure where or when to start having the talk?
