GEORGIA MILESTONES TESTING SCHEDULE
Trickum Middle Schools' 8th and 7th grade Odyssey of the Mind teams are going to Worlds! The 8th-grade team won 1st for GA in their division and the 7th grade won 2nd in their division! They will represent Trickum at the Odyssey of the Mind World’s Competition in Ames, Iowa on May 26-28th.  
These Problem Solving Tigers would appreciate your support.

Want to get a great deal on your Summer Reading titles and get double the amount of books for the money? Good news—the Trickum Middle School Scholastic BOGO book fair is coming soon! Yes—it is the Buy One, Get One FREE bookfair to kick off summer! We are excited! It will begin on Monday, May 9th and will run through Friday, May 13th. You don’t want to miss out on this BOGO book fair. It will be the perfect time to get some of the books on your Summer Reading Lists! 
 
The BOGO book fair will be open Monday – Thursday (May 9th-12th) from 9:00 – 3:30 and Friday, May 13th from 9:00 – 2:00 (with the exception of 12:30-1:00 each day for restock/fair inventory/lunch). There are many great titles on this BOGO book fair that you will not want to miss and some great deals as well!
 
Please note, as in all the other book fairs we have held this year, we will only be accepting E-Wallet, credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and checks made payable to Scholastic. NO CASH, please.

CAR RIDERS
If you are in need of a replacement or extra car rider tag, please email including your child's name and their car rider tag number. 
If you are new to car riders, you should also email and include your child's name.
A set of car rider tags will be given to your child to bring home.
The latest a student may be checked out is 3:30 pm. A picture ID will be required. If someone else is picking up your child, please check the parent portal to ensure that person is listed.

Trickum Middle School has established a GoFan event page for purchasing tickets to all athletic events. Tickets to all home volleyball matches and basketball games will be purchased online with this cashless app. Please follow the link below in order to visit the event page and purchase digital tickets. Go Tigers!!!
There will be no cash taken for tickets at these events.

Breakfast and Lunch
2021-2022 School Year
Student breakfast and lunch will be provided for the 2021-2022 school year. Student ID will be required this school year for digital student lunch pick up.
Lunch pick up will continue this school year for digital students. The drive-thru pick up time M-F is 11:30 AM-12:30 PM at the outdoor theater area. Please enter the parking lot at the traffic light and follow the gravel driveway over to the outdoor theater.
Orientation Agreement Forms and school contributions must be completed via MyPaymentsPlus.com. All returning students (this includes students who attended Trickum this past year as well as upcoming students from one of our four feeder elementary schools) may simply go to MyPaymentsPlus.com and login to complete the process. Those without an account will need to create one by going to MyPaymentsPlus.com; click on “Register” for a FREE account.
Students are not permitted to transport medication to school. If you would like for your child to take any medication during school, including Advil, Tylenol or prescription medication, you must provide the medication to the school clinic worker and complete the appropriate paperwork. Parents must bring and pick up all medication for students. If your child needs an inhaler, please contact the clinic directly for directions.
Are you a PTSA Supporter?

We encourage you to support Trickum by becoming a PTSA member. This year PTSA is offering three levels of membership.

  • Basic Level ($10) includes a single membership.
  • Tiger Level ($30) includes two memberships and two car magnets.
  • Top Tiger Level ($50) includes two memberships, two car magnets and a Trickum spirit wear t-shirt.

Have you signed up for the Parent Portal?

If you have not already signed up for Parent Portal, please contact Drew Schoen at drew.schoen@gcpsk12.org to complete the sign-up process. Monitor your child's progress, view attendance, lunch account balances, checked out and overdue books,
and emergency contact information.

The Student Data Validation/Change Process is online via the ParentVue Update Student Information tab, within the Parent Portal. To ensure receipt of all school information updates, it is important that all information is reviewed and updated annually.

Please use this feature to ensure all necessary contact information (i.e., emergency contacts, pick up lists, cell phone numbers, doctor numbers, and any necessary medical information the school needs to know) is up-to-date and accurate.
