Welcome to Monday Mail!
From the Principal
Greetings,

Happy Monday! Last week we welcomed our final group in the phase-in return to school process. As of now we are asking that students/parents keep their instructional format choice for the remainder of the semester. Should extenuating circumstances exist we may consider requests on a case-by-case basis. Thank you.

All students should be settling into the concurrent classroom model for instruction. Should you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your child's teachers first as they are the best source to provide answers. However afterwards, feel free to reach out to the grade level office if necessary. We are all working together to provide each student the best learning environment possible.

Please come support our PTSA this Thursday, 9/17, at Chick-fil-a Spirit Night from 4-8pm in Lilburn. Be sure to mention Trickum. Our PTSA needs your help more than ever this year, please consider joining and supporting as they continue to support our school, our students, and our staff.

For all students, in-person and digital, we ask those families who qualify for reduced-priced meals to update their application information for the 2020-21 school year. It is important to complete the application annually regardless of your current learning environment. GCPS was recently granted a federal waiver which will provide all students free breakfast and lunch through December. However, if you qualify, you'll need to complete the form so that your status will be maintained come January. Thank you.
Sweet message for our students and staff donated by Card My Yard Stone Mountain!
Thank you to our PTSA for the beautiful sign and words of encouragement! We're very proud of our staff, students, and community for how well everyone is navigating these challenging times.
Congratulations to Ms. Hamilton in 8th Grade!

Freddie Falcon paid a special visit to TMS last Thursday to award 8th grade Language Arts teacher, Ms. Hamilton, a “back-to-school bash” delivery. It was presented by the Atlanta Falcons and Mercedes Benz.

Ms. Hamilton’s award included $250 to be used for her classroom. The award is part of a Falcons initiative to recognize teachers and their service to the community.
Congratulations TMS Symphonic Winds!
