Substitute Teacher Information
Welcome to Piedmont! We're excited to begin our partnership with you. Listed below you'll see the step-by-step process to becoming a substitute teacher at PPS. Resources are in black font, items requiring action or documents to be submitted are in red font. All required documents must be submitted to our office (615 Edmond Rd NW-- just east of the high school) prior to substituting at any of our school sites.
Review the Substitute Teacher Handbook in its entirety and complete the assurance form. Complete this form to show receipt and acknowledgment of the PPS Substitute Teacher Handbook by completing this FORM.

Complete the following trainings by going to www.gcntraining.com:

  • FERPA
  • Bloodborne Pathogens
  • Substitute Teaching

You'll be asked for the Organization ID: 120609p
Username: FirstNameLastName
Complete the REQUIRED Background Check by going to:  https://ok.ibtfingerprint.com/ to schedule an appointment to be fingerprinted. Use the code for school district employment: 2B7KRR. DO NOT SELECT THE OSDE LOCATION. The cost is $58.25. Complete the top portion of the attached form and return it and the receipt from your fingerprinting session with Identigo to Elizabeth Quinones at the district office.
Submit the necessary employment documents:

  • Driver's License or Passport

  • Social Security Card

  • Teaching Certificate






Once all steps have been completed, you will be activated in the Frontline/Aesop Substitute Management System. For more information, contact Lori Broerse, Substitute Coordinator.
