Season 3

Participation Outcomes

It is our hope that participating in BetterU will give you a renewed sense of your overall wellness. Bringing attention to your daily habits provides an opportunity to try something new to better know, do and be you.

Our experiences are all different so what works best for one person may be different for you. However, moving your body daily, fueling it properly, and providing adequate time for your body to rest and recharge is so important!

Additionally, you can earn incentive prizes from Florida Blue and Stetson. Earn a minimum of 65 points and you earn points towards $300 in gift cards through the Sterling Wellness Platform. Earn 100 points and you are eligible one wellness related product at the conclusion of the program.

Welcome to BetterU!

We are so happy you're here and taking the time and energy to focus on you.

Utilize this month to evaluate, explore, understand, and improve your personal health and wellness within four main areas:

  • Physical movement
  • Eating whole foods and proper hydration
  • Mindfulness
  • Sleep hygiene

Through tracking of these behaviors, you can become more aware of your everyday actions and habits. This allows you to assess and adapt what is working and what is not working for you to improve your overall health and wellbeing. This program is meant to help you learn, grow, and be a healthy Hatter!

Point Breakdowns

Participants earn one point for each of the following:

  • 30+ minutes of physical movement per day.
  • 7 or more hours of sleep per night.
  • 6 or more 8-ounce glasses of water per day.
  • Eating 5 or more servings of fruits and vegetables per day.
  • Daily reflection question.

Daily Data Tracker

Submit one log per day.

Utilize this log as an opportunity to pause and reflect on your day. Not every day will be a good day, but small, intentional actions can and will have a big impact after 30 days!

Chose a time of day that is best for you to reflect and log your data. Setting a calendar reminder or accepting the one sent out is a great tool for consistency & accountability!

Progress Tracker

Track your progress.

By logging your personal wellness data daily, you will have the opportunity to reflect on your progress. You also earn points towards various incentive prizes to support your personal wellness journey.

You must log data daily and duplicate logs will be deleted. This is for accountability purposes and integrity of the program.

Remember, change is not linear. You'll have good days and hard days. What matters is you keep showing up for yourself every day.
