Welcome to Spring Quarter
Welcome to Spring Quarter, Global Slugs!

We hope that you all had a restful week away from virtual classes and are recharged to take on the final stretch of the academic year. In many cultures around the world, springtime is a symbol of new beginnings. Here in Global Programming, we are looking forward to embracing this new quarter with new opportunities and events to bring our community together.

There will be many new events this quarter to connect virtually wherever you are. Join us for a game night with Amazon gift card prizes, learn how to navigate services at CAPS, and stay tuned for cross-cultural conversations surrounding lessons learned from the pandemic and various aspects of U.S. culture. If you are an undergraduate student, apply to be a Global Mentor and help welcome new international students later this year.

As vaccines continue to be distributed and cases lower, we are optimistic about a safe and healthy return to in-person engagement in fall 2021. For those of you who still need to file a tax return, the deadline has been extended to May 15, 2021. Until then, continue to stay well and we look forward to continuing to support you virtually. See you online!
