🌱 Welcome to Spring at the Waxhaw Farmers Market! 🌷

As the days grow longer and the air fills with the scent of blooming flowers, and lots of pollen, sigh, we are all excited about the beginning of a vibrant spring season at our farmers market! With the arrival of spring, our local farmers and artisans are busy preparing their freshest produce, handcrafted goods, and delectable treats just for you.

Here’s what you can look forward to this spring:

🥕 Fresh Produce: As the soil warms up, our farmers are bringing forth more of fresh, seasonal produce. From crisp greens to juicy strawberries, you can find the best that spring has to offer right here at our market. Be sure to ask our vendors about their favorite spring recipes for inspiration!

🍅 Seedlings and Plants: Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting out, spring is the perfect time to get your hands dirty and plant something new. Visit our market for a wide selection of seedlings, herbs, and flowering plants to brighten up your garden or windowsill.

🥚Eggs: chicken eggs come in different sizes and colors, depending on the breed of the chicken. Duck eggs are larger and have a richer flavor compared to chicken eggs. Our vendors offer pasture-raised and organic eggs from chickens that are allowed to roam freely outdoors and are fed a natural diet. These eggs tend to have a deeper flavor and brighter yolks compared to conventional eggs.

🥖 Artisanal Baked Goods: There’s nothing quite like the aroma of freshly baked bread or pastries to awaken your senses. Indulge in a wide array of artisanal baked goods made with love by local bakers.

🌸 Handcrafted Treasures: Looking for unique gifts or home décor items? Our market is home to a talented community of artisans offering everything from hand-poured candles and soaps to beautifully crafted pottery and blended teas. Support local craftsmanship and find something special to brighten your home this spring.

🐷 🐔 🐄Beef: Grass-fed beef is known for its rich flavor and tends to be leaner than conventionally raised beef. Pork: our farmers offer cuts such as bacon, sausage, chops, roasts, and ribs. Pasture-raised pork tends to have a more robust flavor and firmer texture compared to factory-farmed pork. Poultry: Free-range or pasture-raised options, which often have superior flavor and texture compared to conventionally raised poultry.

🌻🌼🌷 💐 fresh cut flowers!!!

🏺Jams, jellies, and canned goods: are delightful additions to any meal or snack, offering a burst flavor that change with the seasons.

Happy Spring!
