What is the Education to Employment Brokerage Service?
The Education-to-Employment Brokerage service represents an initiative that the Government announced in 2019. This initiative was created to raise the profile of vocational education as a highly desirable pathway.
The initiative seeks providers, such as Tai Tokerau Trades Training, to provide an effective service for all secondary school students, to enable them to consider vocational education as a successful pathway into employment.
Our key purpose in delivering this service will be to strengthen connections between local employers and schools to achieve greater engagement in vocational education, employment, and sustainable careers for youth and to support regional economic prosperity.
