Help us to commemorate half a century of peer-to-peer support for
bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents by hosting your own event.
It's Compassionate Friends Jubilee Year!

To commemorate, throughout 2019 we are asking members and supporters of our charity to host an event - a coffee morning, bake sale, bring and share lunch - at work or at home - to raise funds for us so that we can continue our vital support for bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents for the next 50 years.

We're calling it Tea & Cake at Fifty ! You might want to run your coffee morning or other event around International Bereaved Mothers Day on Sunday 5th May - but you can also do it anytime you want!

TCF have been contacted by the Jessica Lawson Foundation who have offered bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents an opportunity to stay in a 2 bedroom cottage (sleeps up to 6 people) in the picturesque village of Burgau in Portugal (nearest airport Faro). It can also be for friends sharing. The break can start from any date after 19th March to 1st April for up to a 7 night stay. They are hoping to organise further properties out of season for bereaved parents and families.
