THE NEW INTEGRATED LIFE

Building Stronger Relationships with God and People

"Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."

Welcome to the Journey

Welcome to The New Integrated Life Newsletter

Why We Changed the Name
For years we communicated through Christian Community Connect, CCC Digital, and Yohey Marketing. While the organizations were different, the mission was always the same. We have come to realize that the most important thing in life is relationships and that the most fulfilling life is an integrated life—one where faith, family, business, health, service, and purpose work together around what matters most.

After nearly 50 years in business we know life is about relationships—our relationship with God and our relationships with people.

Whether the topic is faith, family, leadership, business, marketing, personal growth, health, stewardship, or community, our desire is to provide practical encouragement and timeless principles that help people live lives of greater purpose, impact, and fulfillment.

Through Christian Community Connect, CCC Digital, and Yohey Marketing, we are committed to helping people build stronger relationships, stronger businesses, stronger families, and stronger communities.

Because at the end of the day, success is not measured simply by what we accomplish.

It is measured by the lives we touch and the relationships we build along the way.

Faith first. Relationships matter most. Business is a vehicle to serve people. Success is stewardship. Life works best when it is integrated around God's purpose.

We will focus on having an integrated life and understanding that the most important thing in life is having real, successful, meaningful relationships and how to develop them.

People often ask how Christian Community Connect, CCC Digital, and Yohey Marketing fit together. The answer is simple. They are three different vehicles driven by one mission.

At this stage of life, I have come to believe more strongly than ever that the most important thing in life is relationships.

Our relationship with God.

Our relationship with our spouse.

Our relationship with our children and family.

Our relationship with friends, neighbors, clients, customers, and the people we encounter every day.

If we succeed in every other area of life but fail to build meaningful, loving, life-giving relationships, then our success has little lasting value.

That belief shapes everything we do.

Christian Community Connect exists to connect people, businesses, churches, ministries, and organizations in ways that encourage faith, strengthen community, and create opportunities to serve one another.

CCC Digital exists to help organizations communicate more effectively, grow their influence, and reach the people they are called to serve.

Yohey Marketing exists to share products, services, principles, and opportunities that can improve people's lives physically, financially, personally, and spiritually.

While each organization serves a different purpose, they all share the same mission:

To glorify God by serving people. For many years I viewed these as separate endeavors.

Today I see them differently. They are all part of one integrated life.

My faith influences my family.

My family influences my work.

My work creates opportunities to serve others.

My relationships create opportunities to encourage, help, and add value to people.

Everything works together toward one purpose.

As Andrea and I look back over our lives, we see God's hand at work in ways we often could not recognize at the time. We have experienced blessings, successes, disappointments, hardships, answered prayers, miracles, friendships, and opportunities we never could have planned ourselves.

Through it all, one lesson has remained constant: People matter.

Every person has value because every person is created in the image of God.

Every conversation matters.

Every relationship matters.

Every act of service matters.

Every opportunity to encourage someone matters.

That is why we do what we do.

Not simply to build businesses.

Not simply to create income.

Not simply to grow organizations.

But to help people.

To serve people.

To encourage people.

To connect people.

And ultimately, to point people toward the God who created them, loves them, and offers them purpose, hope, and eternal life through His Son, Jesus Christ.

This is our mission.

This is our purpose.

This is our why.

"Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." — 1 Corinthians 10:31

"Thank you for joining us on the journey. We hope each week to encourage, equip, and inspire you to build stronger relationships with God and people while living a more integrated life."

Our Mission, Purpose and Why

Our goal is simple. To add more value to your life. Each week we will share ideas, principles, stories, and resources that help people grow spiritually, personally, professionally, and financially.

Which Life are you Trying to Live?

Balanced Life or Integrated Life

Are You Pursuing Balance or Integration?

For years, many of us have been told that the key to a successful life is achieving balance.

We hear phrases like:

  • Work-life balance
  • Balance your priorities
  • Balance your schedule
  • Balance your commitments

While balance is certainly important, I've come to believe there is something even more valuable: an integrated life.

The Challenge with Balance

When most people think about balance, they imagine a scale.

On one side is work.

On the other side is family.

On another side is faith.

Then health, finances, friendships, recreation, and community involvement.

The goal becomes trying to keep all the weights equal.

The problem is that life rarely works that way.

There are seasons when your family needs more attention.

There are seasons when your business requires extra effort.

There are seasons when your health becomes a priority.

There are seasons when serving others calls for sacrifice.

If balance means giving every area of life the exact right proportion of time, energy and attention it needs and deserves, most of us will never achieve it.

The Power of an Integrated Life

An integrated life asks a different question.

Instead of asking:

"How do I balance everything?"

It asks:

"How do I align everything?"

Imagine a wheel.

At the center is your core purpose, values, and beliefs.

For me, that center is my relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Radiating outward are the spokes:

  • Faith
  • Family
  • Work
  • Health
  • Finances
  • Friendships
  • Service

When the center is strong, every spoke works together.

Your faith influences your family.

Your family influences your work.

Your work becomes a way to serve others.

Your finances become a tool for stewardship and generosity.

Your health enables you to fulfill your calling.

Rather than competing with one another, the different areas of life begin supporting one another.

A Principle-Centered Life

Author Stephen Covey taught that true effectiveness comes from organizing our lives around principles and purpose rather than simply trying to manage time. He described balance not as running between separate compartments but as a dynamic equilibrium where life's roles work together as an interrelated whole.

In other words, the goal is not to become successful at one thing while neglecting everything else.

The goal is to live according to values that guide every area of life.

What Does This Look Like?

An integrated life means:

  • Being the same person at work that you are at home.
  • Living your faith every day, not just on Sunday.
  • Building a business that serves people.
  • Treating success as a means to make a difference rather than an end in itself.
  • Using your gifts, resources, and relationships to leave a positive legacy.

When life is integrated, you no longer feel pulled in competing directions.

Instead, you begin moving in one direction with greater clarity and purpose.

A Question Worth Asking

At the end of our lives, few people will wish they had spent more time checking items off a to-do list.

Most will care about:

  • The relationships they built.
  • The people they helped.
  • The values they lived by.
  • The difference they made.

Perhaps the goal is not a perfectly balanced life.

Perhaps the goal is a life fully integrated around what matters most.

As you think about your own life today, ask yourself:

Am I simply trying to balance my priorities, or am I integrating them around a purpose that gives meaning to them all?

That answer may change everything.
