Dear Incoming Class,

Congratulations and welcome to William James College! In choosing William James College you join a community dedicated to serving society's diverse mental health needs and ensuring access to mental health care for all persons. The time for Orientation is fast approaching. This email contains important information that will help ensure a smooth and easy transition into this next phase of your academic career.

With this in mind, we invite each of you to join us for an exciting week of Orientation programming.

  • Orientation will occur the week of August 22nd - August 26th. Each program has different scheduled days of attendance. Please review and know which day you're invited to attend. The entire schedule can be found here.

Communication will be a key part of the success of your WJC career. You should now have your William James College email address established. From this point forward, your school email address is the primary way you will receive communication from the College, your professors and classmates.

Further, because all offices and departments communicate with you via your college email, the expectation is that you will check it daily to ensure you don't miss valuable information. Please start establishing that habit today.

Following the conclusion of this letter, you will find a list of important links that will get you on the right track for the academic year.

On behalf of the College, including our faculty, staff, and administration, please accept this warm welcome. We are excited that you are joining our community and we look forward to seeing you on campus very soon!

If you have questions, please feel free to be in touch so we can assist.

With warmest regards,
Stacey Lambert, PsyD
Vice President for Academic Affairs
