Having graduated from the Sports Product Management program a few weeks ago, I am knee-deep in the job search. As you all know, getting that first job out of school can be tough and living through a global pandemic hasn't made it any easier. With this in mind, I wanted to create a newsletter that summarizes the industry's latest news. I look forward to using this as a creative outlet and hope it can be beneficial for you as well.

Amazon never misses a beat when it comes to being front and center in the news. They now control over 10% of all digital ads in the U.S., with revenue at $15.73 billion in 2020. This will surely play an impact on how brands advertise and reach digitally native consumers who are reliant on online shopping.

1/4 of the Black Eyed Peas announced a new way to protect yourself in public with a $299 mask. In partnership with N95 manufacturer, Honeywell, the Xupermask will boast some unique features such as ventilation filters, bluetooth connectivity, and an earbud docking system.

2x Masters winner, Bubba Watson, tweeted out a photo of the shoes that he will be donning on the course of golf's most prestigious event. Golf has long been known as a very traditional game, but with the help from many iconic athletes and sports brands, that narrative is quickly changing.
