NORTHERN MIDDLESEX YMCA WELCOMES THREE NEW MEMBERS TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
MIDDLETOWN, CT — The Northern Middlesex YMCA is pleased to announce the election of three new members to its volunteer Board of Directors. Sarah Cody, Lee LeBlanc, and Arun Srinivasan were elected during the YMCA's Annual Meeting of the Governing Members on June 9 and will serve as members of the Board of Directors for the Class of 2026–2029.
"We are excited to welcome Sarah, Lee, and Arun to the Board," said Michele Rulnick, President & CEO of the Northern Middlesex YMCA. "Each brings valuable professional experience, strong community relationships, and a deep commitment to our mission. Their leadership will help guide the YMCA as we continue to expand our impact throughout the communities we serve."
Sarah Cody-Rector serves as Director of Public Relations for Middlesex Health. With nearly three decades of experience in Connecticut media and communications, she brings extensive expertise in public relations, storytelling, and community engagement. Sarah has already been a valued partner to the YMCA, including her support of the organization's Chain of Survival recognition event earlier this year.
Lee LeBlanc is a familiar face within the YMCA community as a retired YMCA staff member and spouse of a former Board member. His longstanding commitment to youth development and community service includes involvement with organizations such as Special Olympics Connecticut and the Middletown Police Athletic League. Lee brings a unique historical perspective and strong local relationships to the Board.
Arun Srinivasan serves as Director of Business Development at Oursuit Aerospace. A Camp Ingersoll parent and active member of the YMCA Finance Committee, Arun combines a passion for the YMCA mission with a strategic, data-driven approach to decision-making. His experience in business development and analytics will help strengthen the organization's future planning and growth initiatives.
