About Jay Srivats

Jay Srivats is the Head of Structured Finance – Americas for

S&P Global Ratings. Based in New York, her responsibilities

include maximizing the impact of the Structured Finance

analytical teams in the Americas and to drive S&P’s

analytical excellence and thought leadership. Jay is a

results-oriented leader with a strong focus on talent

development and a creative, solutions-oriented mindset. She

believes in an outside-in approach and holds listening to the

customer as one of the key tenets to success.

Jay has been a member of the U.S. Structured Finance

team for over 18 years and was previously the Analytical

Manager for the Esoterics Structured Finance team.

Prior to joining S&P Global in 2006, Jay spent many years

with Citi Group and American Express. She has an MBA

(Finance) from University of San Francisco, and MBA

(Marketing) from University of Madras, Chennai, India.

Jay is a passionate advocate for inclusion across S&P

Global leading the workforce towards representation,

education, and creating a sense of belonging within the

organization.

PAM MARRONE

Pam and co-founder Jim Boyd, the former President & CFO of Marrone Bio, launched the Invasive Species Corporation, to bring effective, environmentally friendly biological solutions to control destructive invasive species, in water, forestry and agriculture. Dr. Marrone spent her 30+ year career focused on biological products for pest management and plant health, having started and led three other bioag companies (Entotech, AgraQuest and Marrone Bio Innovations), all of which were sold to larger companies. She is one of only 32 women to have founded a company and taken it public (MBII:NASDAQ). She has a B.S. in entomology with Honors and Distinction from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in entomology from North Carolina State University. She is a Fellow of the AAAS, and in 2024 she was elected to the National Academy of Engineering. She is a 2025 inductee into the National Inventors Hall of Fame, with over 400 patents (>80 US).

We couldn’t have asked for a better start to the year! On January 21, 2025, TiE New York hosted its first Open Mic Night of the year, bringing together a vibrant audience of entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors.

The evening featured an inspiring fireside chat with Nami Baral founder and CEO of Niural, who shared invaluable insights into the topic "The Dos and Dont's of Entrepreneurship". The conversation was expertly moderated by our Charter Member, Karan Dalal-COO Media.net sparking thought-provoking discussions.

The event continued with five incredible pitches Pamela Marrone from ISC , Krishna Ravindranathan from Mind pharma, Vinod Borsadiya from NasalRx, Inc, Sreehari M from Desi Flavors and Ria Chakrabarti from Veristyle showcasing groundbreaking ideas and innovations. We were truly impressed by the passion and creativity of the entrepreneurs who took the stage!

The evening concluded with lively networking over delicious hors d'oeuvres and wine, fostering meaningful connections and potential collaborations.
