Bhavna Sethi is the founder of Katalyze, an AI-powered platform tackling costly problem organizations face today: lack of clarity and misalignment that slows decisions, delays sales, and stalls adoption.

She brings 20+ years of experience at the intersection of tech, business, and growth.

Bhavna has led enterprise transformations for EY, Capgemini, and BNP Paribas,

served as CTO of a digital retail brand and built global customer success for IBM’s blockchain-based supply chain platform. She most recently shaped go-to-market, product, and partnership strategy as Chief Strategy Officer at WaveBL, a fintech transforming global trade.

Outside of work, she enjoys scuba diving, yoga, and mentoring emerging leaders.

TiE New York Hosts Successful Mock Pitch Session for Finalists

On June 27, 2025, TiE New York hosted a successful mock pitch round for the top six finalists of our upcoming pitch competition. Each finalist had the opportunity to rehearse their pitch in a supportive, feedback-driven environment—an essential step in preparing for the grand finale.

In the weeks leading up to the session, each contestant was paired with a dedicated mentor for personalized, one-on-one guidance. Mentors worked closely with the finalists to identify their strengths, sharpen their storytelling, and refine their pitch decks.

These six impressive startups are now gearing up to compete in the finals on July 10, 2025. We are proud of their progress and wish them the very best of luck as they take the stage!



As a follow-on from TiE New York's successful Green Growth event held at the Indian Consulate in the Spring, TiE New York was invited to attend and exhibit at the 2025 Rhode Island Climate and Sustainability event in Providence, Rhode Island.

The FountainHead RI's 2025 Climate Stocktake event was held at the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence, Rhode Island

This event, focused on Rhode Island's climate action and sustainability leadership and brought together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and community advocates. It served as a platform to evaluate Rhode Island's progress, explore innovative solutions, and foster collaboration for a more sustainable future throughout the region. 

TiE New York used the occasion to discuss our Green Growth Initiative event and promote our TiE U pitch event.

Both are part of our mission to reach new audiences for our members and broaden our networking awareness.

Jason Dodier, co-founder of Grain EcoSystems was a key part of the New York Green Growth Initiative is also co-chair of the R.I.Climate StockTake event.

Our very own amazing veteran member Craig Abbott-TiE U committee head represented TiE New York and was invited to meet Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee at the event. 

The Governor welcomed TiE to his State and introduced their RI Hub initiative which is focused on startups, mentoring, pitch workshops and networking

The TiE New Jersey Annual Gala 2025 was a vibrant celebration of entrepreneurial excellence, global impact, and the unwavering spirit of community.

TiE New York was proud to be in attendance, representing the true spirit of camaraderie and cross-border collaboration that defines the TiE network.

From inspiring keynote addresses to the recognition of trailblazing entrepreneurs, the evening brought together leaders, investors, and changemakers from across the region who are shaping the future of innovation and enterprise.

TiE New York team members joined fellow Charter Members, award recipients, and ecosystem partners to celebrate not only individual achievements but the collective power of the TiE community to elevate and support entrepreneurship across boundaries.
