What a way to close out TiE New York's last Open Mic Night Series of 2024!

We extend heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined and supported us throughout the series. Your presence significantly enriched the event and contributed to its success. We hope you found the evening insightful and enriching.

We wrapped up the year with an insightful fireside chat featuring Anusha Dandapani, Chief of Data & AI Services at UNICC, hosted by our charter member Kathirvel Kumararaja. They dove deep into "Scaling with purpose and how to harness innovation for sustainable business growth".

Following the discussion, we were inspired by two fantastic startup pitches from Amy Ontiveros from Patient-ly and Arun Prasad from BlockConvey, plus an impromptu pitch from Viral Kothari from Veekay—a reminder that at our Open Mic Nights, any startup can take the stage!

We extend our best wishes to each of them on their promising entrepreneurial journeys. The evening was truly splendid, filled with networking opportunities and enriching knowledge-sharing.

We are already looking forward to 2025 with a brand-new series of Open Mic Nights every second Tuesday!

TiE NEW YORK + IIT PITCH COMPETITION OCTOBER 03, 2024

On October 3, 2024, TiE New York and IIT Bombay Heritage Foundation-New York Chapter came together to host an incredible pitch competition at Civic Hall's state-of-the-art facility in NYC.

Supporting entrepreneurs from all around the world, we were thrilled to receive around 65 applications in a span of one month.

The evening was electric, filled with pride, joy, and true camaraderie. This sold-out event, attended by our esteemed members of IIT Bombay Heritage Foundation NY Chapter, fellow IITians, TiE New York Board Members, Charter Members, Angel Investors, Student Members, Entrepreneur Members, and friends, was a testament to the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit within our community. The overwhelming support and positive feedback from our audience underscores the impact of our efforts in fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs.
