Dear Friends and Supporters,

Thank you for making the Israel Air Force a part of your life and for enabling me to make it a part of mine.
With great pride, I have accepted the position of Chief Operating Officer of the Israel Air Force Center Foundation. It is rare in life to be presented with an opportunity that’s a perfect fit. Let me tell you why.

My brother Opher, has been a proud IAF fighter pilot for over 30 years and serves in the reserves to this day.

Born and raised in Jerusalem, I served as a second lieutenant in the elite IDF intelligence unit 8200, overseeing 950 soldiers. I received my BA in psychology from UCLA, and a Master's Degrees in Education and Hebrew Letters. I’m also an ordained rabbi, and for the past 15 years I've worked as a rabbi and rabbi/educator at various Los Angeles temples and day schools.

My aim, throughout my career, has been to provide adults and students with a deep, transformative connection to Israel and to build stronger Jewish identify. Now, promoting Israel and the Israel Air Force Center Foundation is the driving force in my life.
With your help, I plan to use my experience and enthusiasm to take our organization to the next level. I look forward to meeting with you and hearing about your innovative ideas.

My goal and objective is to travel around the US and Israel to meet with our donors   to ensure my personal connection to you and the advancement of our important mission. Feel free to email me if you would like to schedule a coffee meeting in your city at: liat@iafcenterfoundation.com

At the New York kickoff event in July, I had the pleasure of meeting some of you and beginning to outline our most important goals for the next three to five years. (You can read all about that event below.) We will be planning more gatherings for you and your friends.

I look forward to getting to know you and working together.

IAFCF Kicks Off a New Era at NY Event
New York Kick Off event with
IAF Brigadier General Yaron Rosen (Res.)
We had a fabulous event and we were thrilled to kick off the New York Chapter.

On July 11, a group of donors gathered at the Jewish Center in Manhattan to meet IAFCF’s new Chief Operating Officer, Liat Yardeni, and celebrate the beginning of a new era for the organization.
Liat spoke about her goals for IAFCF, and her personal connection to the IAF. The keynote speaker, Brigadier General Yaron Rosen, spoke about his fascinating work as the IDF Cyber Command Chief of Staff, the first line of defense against online threats to Israel. Three special guests who served in the IAF were honored.
Participants enjoyed great food as well as socializing and learning together, all in service of supporting the IAF. Despite the heavy rain outside, there was an atmosphere of great joy and warmth within.

Stay tuned many more events to follow!
