Welcome
The following article, from our new ministry partner,
Regeneration Outreach Community in Brampton,
is an example of the work that your donation to FaithWorks supports.

Regeneration Outreach Community
is a ministry built on the foundation of Christian love in action. Our programs are deeply rooted in our faith, guided by the words of Jesus in Matthew 25 to care for “the least of these.” Rooted in compassion, we seek to restore dignity and hope to individuals facing homelessness, poverty, and social isolation in Brampton. Through essential care, supportive relationships and practical resources, we create a safe and welcoming space where every person is treated as a valued member of our community. Our programs - whether providing meals, rescuing food, offering clothing or extending a listening ear - reflect our deep commitment to meet both physical and spiritual needs.
| | |
Our core programs include daily hot breakfasts and lunches, our Marketplace food bank, and an extensive food rescue program that recovers over 2 million pounds of high-quality surplus food in 2025. These initiatives ensure that fresh and nutritious food reaches those who need it most. Beyond meals, we provide access to showers, laundry, clothing, and hygiene supplies, as well as connections to housing, health care, and employment resources. We also offer supportive programs that nurture well-being and belonging, creating a community where guests are known by name and valued as individuals. Every day, Regeneration’s doors are open to anyone in need - those facing homelessness, poverty, or food insecurity - and each is welcomed with dignity, respect, and genuine hospitality.
| | |
Collaboration is at the heart of Regeneration's impact. We partner with more than 30 food rescue donors - including local grocery stores, restaurants, and wholesalers - and redistribute food to over 40 community partner organizations throughout the region. Regeneration is recognized not only as a service provider, but as a trusted convener and advocate - a central hub for food security and outreach in Brampton. While our Meal Program currently receives substantial government support, our Marketplace and Food Procurement programs depend on additional funding from partners, like FaithWorks, to ensure sustainability and independence from shifting public funding streams.

Join FaithWorks'
30th anniversary campaign!
The 30th anniversary campaign is turning to Jesus’ miracle of the feeding of the multitude for inspiration and guidance. We are being reminded, as “Jesus fed the multitude, now it’s our turn to help.” We are being challenged to “give extra for food.”
In celebration of our 30th anniversary, FaithWorks hopes to provide extra help to parish food insecurity programs. Any extra funds raised beyond the annual goal of $1.5 million needed to meet our ongoing commitments will be set aside for parish food insecurity programs.
To realize this hope, we are asking 100% of parishes to participate in this anniversary campaign by setting a fundraising goal that exceeds their 2025 FaithWorks contribution by at least 1% of their overall offertory amount
– 100 + 1%.
We invite you to take up the challenge!
