Free Health Fair: Friday, March 7th


Our next community Health Fair is March 7th, 11am – 2pm, at the Hoie Hall meeting room at St. Luke's Church (18 James Lane, East Hampton). Stop by for free flu shots, screenings, and healthy advice. All are welcome—healthy refreshments will be served!

Healthcare Education Scholarship Application Deadline: Monday, March 10th


The EHHF healthcare education scholarships will award $2,500 per year of study to two graduating high school seniors in the Town of East Hampton who will be pursuing a healthcare education at a two-year technical school or four-year college.

Special consideration will be given to applicants in the BOCES nursing program who are intending to work in healthcare in the Town after graduation. Scholarship applications are due March 10th. Interested applicants should visit their school guidance counselor for more information and an application. More


Stony Brook East Hampton Emergency Department Update


Great news for our community: construction of the new Stony Brook East Hampton Emergency Department is now complete! Located adjacent to the East Hampton Healthcare Center on Pantigo Place, the facility is slated for a spring 2025 opening.

EHHF Board Spotlight


Meet Peter M. Odell, MD, FACS—President of our Board of Trustees and one of its founding members. A Clinical Professor at Weill Cornell and Attending Ophthalmologist at New York Presbyterian, he specializes in complex ophthalmic issues.

After medical training at Bowdoin, Tufts, and New England Medical Center, Dr. Odell served in the U.S. Public Health Service. He later became Director of Resident Training at New York Hospital. Dr. Odell serves on four of the East Hampton Healthcare Foundation’s committees. More
