Star Union Spirits Opens Illinois Brandy and Whiskey Distillery

Lonerider Spirits Releases Its First Bourbon
Lonerider Spirits, sister craft distillery of award-winning Lonerider Brewing Company, unveiled its sherry cask finish bourbon whiskey. Raleigh’s first-in-market bourbon whiskey is now available at ABC stores and restaurants and bars across North Carolina, with expansion planned next year to the eight other states where Lonerider Brewing already has a presence.

Seattle's OOLA Opening New Tasting Room
OOLA Distillery has called Seattle's Capitol Hill home since its initial opening in 2010. The Capitol Hill location is there to stay, but the distillery has announced that it will now be opening an additional tasting room in the Georgetown neighborhood.  
Maryland's Tenth Ward Launches Crowdfunding Campaign
Supporters of Frederick Maryland's Tenth Ward Distilling Co. will be able to help fund the recently expanded Tenth Ward location, visit to tour the barrel room and event facility and view construction plans for the crowd-funded cocktail bar build out. The  Tenth Ward Indiegogo campaign  will fund the build out of Tenth Ward’s new “Cocktail Lab” which will serve to educate consumers on how they can mix with craft spirits and it will also provide an additional revenue stream to the business. The campaign will also fund the build out of Tenth Ward’s barrel program which will support the development and growth of barrel-aged spirits.
Wisconsin's Wollersheim Distillery Raises Funds for Veterans Organizations

About three years ago Wollersheim Winery and Distillery's Philippe Coquard and his son-in-law hatched a plan to use their expertise and do something they’ve never done before: Distill special, American-themed bourbon and donate the proceeds to Veterans Service Organizations.
Minnesota's J. Carver Unveils Cruella Amaro and Wheat Whiskey
J. Carver Distillery celebrates over four years of award-winning distilling by announcing the introduction of two new handcrafted spirits: Cruella Amaro, a rye whiskey-based Amaro and J. Carver Wheat Whiskey. Both products are distilled grain-to-glass and aged in J. Carver's barrel room at its facility in Waconia, Minnesota, located 30 miles southwest of Minneapolis.
Colorado's Distillery 291 Releases Two Editions of Its 'E' Series
Distillery 291 has released batch #4 and #5 of 291 “E” series, which represents an opportunity for the company to think outside the box and push its limits. The “E” stands for “experimental” and every batch is a new entry into the series. Every batch of “E” is released at barrel proof and unique from anything else the distillery makes.
Minnesota's Royal Foundry Craft Spirits Set to Open This Month
Royal Foundry Craft Spirits is a brand-new Minneapolis distillery that is bringing a British spirit to the West Market District this winter to create and pour cocktails forged in the traditions of the British Isles. The 15,000-square-foot distillery is slated to open in December and will feature the largest cocktail room in the Twin Cities, as well as the Crown Room for private tastings, a gaming area and a 2,800+ square-foot event space to host curated private celebrations, corporate gatherings and more.
California's Spirit Works Releases Barrel Reserve Series of Finished Ryes
Spirit Works Distillery has released a Barrel Reserve series of Finished Rye Whiskies for the holidays. These Sherry, Port and Sloe Gin Barrel Finishes are available as tasting room exclusives and sparingly in California markets.
San Diego's Storyhouse Spirits Set to Unveil First Chapter in January
Founded on the age-old premise of friends gathering in a public house to unwind and tell stories of the day, Storyhouse Spirits is set to unveil its first chapter in San Diego’s East Village in January 2019. The urban distillery, bar and lounge will occupy 7,600 square feet at the corner of J and Park Boulevard in a historic building transformed into an industrial chic space.

Dry Fly Announces Strategic Partnership with Seven Seas Export
Dry Fly Distilling president Don Poffenroth and Seven Seas Export CEO Sam Cho announced the formation of a strategic partnership involving Dry Fly Distilled Spirits. The new partnership will include an expansion of Dry Fly’s production capacity from its current 30,000 maximum annual gallons, to 250,000 gallons maximum annual at a new production facility located in central Spokane, Washington.
