Laughter and Anticipation Mark the Start of the School Year
As children entered Increase Miller, Katonah, and Meadow Pond Elementary Schools, the hallways were filled with laughter and spirited conversations about summer vacations and the new year to come.

Teachers and students read stories, played games, and got to know each other.

HomeBase Helps Students Connect
Something happens at John Jay Middle School even before first period: Homebase. It’s a consistent fifteen minutes set aside for community and connection.

“We practice being our best selves as a community through through activities, projects, and events,” said Assistant Principal Shantel Brooks.

John Jay's Music Technology Program Builds Capacity
Senior Jack McMahon’s composition, “Free Flying,” has been selected as a featured work for the Electronic Music Composition Showcase at the NYSSMA Winter Conference.

The honor is a tribute to McMahon’s hard work and talent as well as John Jay's growing Music Technology program.
