Welcome our New Executive Director, Laura Munari, MAS!
The Arizona Promotional Products Association (AzPPA) has contracted with Laura Munari to be their Executive Director effective immediately. Ms. Munari has been in the promotional products industry since 2010, working as a distributor sales representative before becoming the Executive Director of the Rocky Mountain Region Promotional Products Association (RMRPPA) in 2019.
In addition to welcoming Laura, the AzPPA Board of Directors extends gratitude and well-wishes to outgoing Executive Director, Betsy Andrade, MAS, who is retiring. Ms. Andrade served in the Executive Director role for more than 4 years, and had been a volunteer Board Member and Past President of the association for several years prior to that. She will stay on for the next few months to help facilitate a smooth transition.

Damon Subasa, MAS of Peerless Umbrella and 2020 President of AzPPA, said: “We are proud to have Laura taking on the Executive Director role with AzPPA. She brings a wide variety of experience to the position, and we are looking forward to benefiting from her expertise.”

Laura Munari said: “It is an honor to affliate with AzPPA in this new capacity. I am a strong believer in the benefits that the regional associations of PPAI have to offer to their members, and hope to help the Arizona region become even stronger than it is today.”

PPAI's Expo 2021 Transitions to a Virtual Live Event

The end of September traditionally marks the opening of registration for The PPAI Expo 2021 in Las Vegas. Our team at PPAI has worked tirelessly over the past months, shifting with every obstacle, making backup plans for our backup plans, with the continued goal of having an in-person live event in January 2021. Unfortunately, over the past few weeks it has become clear, with health risks, travel restrictions and ever-changing guidelines on large expositions, we are unable to host an in-person version of The PPAI Expo 2021. So, instead of a message to kick off registration, we are announcing the transition to a completely virtual live format for 2021 and giving it a new name: PPAI Expo Direct-2-You.
