To help you through the entire sale we invite you and anyone in your unit who is interested, to follow our What’s Poppin’ Newsletter. This newsletter is our way to communicate with you, key dates, timely reminders and important information regarding the sale, as well as helpful hints and suggestions that allow you to get the most out of your sale.  Please make sure this Newsletter is not marked as junk, since there is very important, and time sensitive information shared through it.

What’s Poppin’ is sent to your Kernel of record, that is whoever signed up your unit. If you have other members of your unit that would like to receive What’s Poppin’ contact Robin at Robin.Kotzmoyer@scouting.org .

Spring of 2021 has brought with it a revitalized hope of an exciting year to come. As we look ahead and start planning for the 2021-2022 program year, remember that a good Fall Fundraiser can enhance your unit’s program. Fall is just around the corner and the Fall Fundraiser is an extremely important part of your unit’s budget. Your council team has been working on a plan to help you, your unit and your youth succeed. Our partner companies are still working on and tweaking their plan for the sale. As the pieces of the program are confirmed in the next couple of months, we will roll out that information to you.

To receive up-to-date information for you and your unit, please make sure that you have completed a 2021 Popcorn unit profile on the Pecatonica River site.. If you have not completed the 2021 commitment unit profile, click here .

Please note that you are not alone in this whole process. We have a dedicated team of volunteers and professionals to support you in your sale. If you have questions at any time, please don’t hesitate to contact any of us. The contact information for each of our key volunteers and professional staff advisors is below. If you aren’t sure where to start, send an email to your executive, District Kernel or contact us at Robin.Kotzmoyer@scouting.org and we will get your questions answered.

ANNOUNCING OUR NEW POPCORN PARTNER
The PA Dutch Council and our neighboring Councils worked together and found a popcorn partner to enhance the popcorn piece of the Fall Fundraiser. They bring great product, innovative marketing tools, and a flexible partnership.
They provide a lot of the same flavors that we love – Caramel, Cheese, Chocolate. Their pre-popped product is available in tins and buckets, with pricing comparable to last year’s lineup.
