Dear Las Lomas Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I hope everyone has had a smooth start and is settling into a fantastic year ahead. Whether this is your first year at Las Lomas or you’re a returning family, we are so glad you’re part of this incredible community.

As a proud Las Lomas alum (Class of 2002!), I know how special this school is, and I am truly honored to serve as your PTSA President this year. I’m looking forward to connecting with parents, caregivers, and students as we work together to create meaningful experience, support our educators, and strengthen our school community.

We have exciting goals for this year and hope you’ll join us in making them happen!

We’re proud to:

  • Fund classroom supplies for Art, Auto Shop, Digital Design, Wellness, and Special Education.
  • Host campus events like Teacher Appreciation, Finals Fuel, Founders’ Day, Reflections, and Parent Education.
  • Champion inclusion through our DEIB and Exceptional Education Committees.
  • Award scholarships: Three $1,000 scholarships for active PTSA seniors.
  • Advocate for education through Advocacy Week and community updates.

Membership & Volunteering

We’re starting the year strong with 625 PTSA members and have set an ambitious goal of 1,000 members for 2025–2026! Every membership makes a difference—students are full voting members too and play an important role in shaping PTSA programs, so be sure to sign them up.

We’re also still looking for a Ways and Means Chair to help lead our fundraising efforts—especially important this year after Measure T did not pass in the spring. The more members we have, the more we can support our programs that benefit our students, parents, teachers, and school community. With district budget cutbacks expected in the future, our involvement and support will be more critical than ever. Let’s reach that 1,000-member milestone together!

📱 Membership Challenge: Text 5 Las Lomas family friends today! Ask if they’re PTSA members—and if not, invite them and their student to join at

I’d love for you to join us for our first PTSA Association Meeting of the year on Tuesday, Sept 9 at 7pm in the Las Lomas Library! It’s a great chance to meet other parents, hear about our plans and goals for the year, and welcome our new principal, Brian Sullivan.

Exceptional Education Committee Meeting

Our Exceptional Education Committee—a PTSA group supporting families of students with IEPs—will hold its first meeting on Tuesday, September 9 from 5:00-6:00pm in the Las Lomas Library.

This is a great opportunity for parents and caregivers to connect, share resources, and collaborate to ensure all students thrive.
