Dear Barrington 220 Community,
I hope you had a wonderful summer! I am so excited to begin the 2022-23 school year in Barrington 220. As a reminder, all students in grades 1-12 begin on Monday, August 22 and all kindergarten and early childhood students begin on Wednesday, August 24.
We have much to look forward to this school year as we embrace our new theme, #WeBelong220, which is part of a larger community effort to create a culture of belonging in the Barrington area.
In addition, we will continue creating new and innovative instructional spaces for our students and staff through our Build 220 construction initiative. We will also continue the work we began last school year to engage stakeholders in our comprehensive planning process, Framework 220. Barrington 220’s new mission “Empower personal excellence in every learner” captures the essence of what we strive to achieve daily for our students and staff. We look forward to continuing this work during the 2022-23 school year.
Quality in public education is the result of a strong partnership between the school and community. I look forward to working together to make this a great school year for all!
