We are so thrilled to welcome you to the Class of 2021 and to the 6th grant-making year of Impact 100 Jersey Coast! Please stay tuned for the exciting announcement of our final membership number on April 1. As always, our members will be the first to know.

As the membership season draws to a close, the true work of Impact begins: getting our collective dollars back out into the community to fund high-impact projects serving Monmouth County...at a moment when they are needed more than ever.

As we prepare to kick off our next grant-making season, we wanted to take stock of where we stand, mark how far we have come, and let all our members--returning and brand-new--know what the next few months have in store. We look forward to welcoming our new members, reconnecting with old friends, strengthening our collective, and learning more on this journey together.

WHO WE ARE
Impact Jersey Coast is part of a growing international movement that empowers women to fund transformational changes in our local communities. We are local women of different ages and backgrounds who combine our charitable dollars, experience, and energy to make a tangible difference in our area.

OUR GOALS
To create a forum to raise awareness of our community’s most pressing needs and fund transformational grants for high-impact projects addressing those needs. To strengthen and expand our giving circle to encompass. the richness of ideas, perspectives and the participation of diverse women from a wide range of perspectives. 
 
Impact100 Jersey Coast stands with others for equity and justice and in denouncing racism, intolerance, and exclusion. As with many organizations, we have recognized that it's critical to our health and strength to self‐reflect and acknowledge areas where we can improve and grow. We have created a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee (DE&I) with the ultimate goal to expand involvement & recruitment of a more diverse population of membership, bring more diverse voices and faces to our team and enhance our perspectives and to ultimately help amplify our impact in the community.

OUR IMPACT
Since its inception in 2015, Impact 100 Jersey Coast has awarded more than $1.6 million and this year we are excited to pass the $2 million mark in total grant funds given to Monmouth County nonprofits. In 2020 alone, the organization presented four grants of $114,000 and we look forward to awarding 4 more grants in 2021.

Nonprofit Applicant Information Sessions - Let your favorite local nonprofit know about our grant opportunity. See below for details!
April 1
The Big Reveal - Stay tuned for an email announcing our total 2021 Grant Fund!
April 5
2021 Grant Cycle begins - The Nonprofit Eligibility Form goes live on our website. Learn more about our grant process.
April 29
Focus Area Committee Info Session - Want to get involved in reviewing this year’s grant applications? Join this training to see what’s involved!
May 25
Focus Area Committee Training - Training is mandatory for new and returning FAC members, so be sure to register.
June 1
Application Deadline - Eligible nonprofits may apply for grant funding in one of the five focus areas.
June – September
Nonprofit Application Review Process - Focus Area Committees (FACs), comprised of members, evaluate grant applications. After a thorough analysis and financial review, semifinalists are selected and site visits are scheduled.
October
Grant Finalists Announced - FACs select finalists to present at the Annual Membership Meeting in November. Their proposed projects will be submitted to members for review prior to the annual meeting.
November
Annual Meeting - Each member casts a single (and equal) vote for a nonprofit of her choice. The grant recipients are determined by a majority vote and announced at the close of the meeting!
December
2022 Membership Drive begins - Help us get the word out so that in 2022 we can give even more in grant funds!
Get Involved!
As a member, you have the chance to get involved as a volunteer as much, or as little, as you wish to! Volunteer opportunities range from One & Done tasks to helping out on a regular basis in an area of our operations, or signing up to join a Focus Area Committee (FAC) to assist in reviewing the grant proposals submitted this year. Look for our Volunteer Corner in future emails.

2021 Grant Cycle Launching!
