Welcome to the Community Colleges Chapter of the Fulbright Association
As president, I'm pleased to welcome you to our chapter! Formed in January, our group's mission is to advance Fulbright opportunities and international education in America's 1,000 community and technical colleges. Many of our board members have been honored by a Fulbright grant. There are a range of Fulbright possibilities available to community colleges including as U.S. scholars, U.S. students, specialists, foreign exchange students and scholars, and Fulbright-Hays grantees.
All are welcome to join our chapter and engage in our efforts. Because our membership and those involved in our work span the U.S. (and the world) we are a virtual chapter. To become of an official member, you must first join the Fulbright Association and designate our chapter as your home chapter (you can designate a geographic chapter as well!). You need not have received a Fulbright grant to join.
Visit our website to read our press release announcing our chapter and goals. If you have questions, email communitycolleges@fulbright.org or davidjsmith@fulbrightmail.org.
