Synodality Virtual Table
The Virtual Table on Synodality has been meeting for the past several months, often discussing the various continental and other synodal documents as they are published. The discussions have been a rich exchange across at least four continents. We are aware of the importance of this time in our church as we look at the ongoing reception of Vatican II and renewal needed in our church.

On September 21 at 9:00 New York / 15:00 Paris/ 16:00 Nairobi /21:00 Manila we invite you, our colleagues, to a 75 minute online discussion.  We will 1) offer a brief overview of the synod process to date, 2) have colleagues across continents offer 5 minute reflections on each of the three priority discussion areas for the October 2023 Synod Assembly (see Instrumentum Laboris for more details on each), and 3) offer a brief overview of the ‘conversation in the Spirit’ method that will be used during the Synod. To conclude our session, one of our colleagues will briefly share resources on emerging best practices for synodality in the classroom. If you are interested in joining us on September 21, please email either Maria Cimperman (mcimperman@ctu.edu) or Kevin Ahern (kevin.ahern@manhattan.edu) for the Zoom link.
