Recent LRM Health and Wellness Developments…

The Mental Health Association of Maryland was added as a Health and Wellness Committee and Coalition Resource. Through their Mental Health and Aging Coalition Policy Committee, they develop priorities and advocate for policies that will best support older Marylanders with cognitive and behavioral conditions.

The Maryland Department of Labor’s Direct Care Workforce Innovation Program was added as a LRM in Action Key Initiative. The program will provide nearly $240,000 in matching grants to help employers and workforce organizations recruit, retain, and advance direct care workers. The investment will support occupational training, licensing costs, and wraparound services—including offsetting transportation costs—to help workers remain engaged and successful in their careers.

The Maryland Department of Health's State Unintentional Drug Overdose Reporting System (SUDOR) Trend Report was added as a LRM in Action Key Initiative. The report provides data and analysis on circumstances of fatal overdoses in Maryland from 2018-June 2024
