Recent LRM Transportation and Mobility Developments…

Maryland Department of Transportation's Complete Streets Implementation Plan was added as an LRM in Action item and resource. The plan translates the Complete Streets Policy into a blueprint of new project development and decision-making processes.

Maryland Department of Transportation's Maryland MOVE Roundtable was added as an LRM in Action item. The engagement series will establish Complete Streets champions among local, regional, and state partners.

Maryland Department of Transportation's Maryland Coordinated Public Transit - Human Services Transportation Plans was added as a Transportation and Mobility Resource.

It identifies the transportation needs of older adults and people with disabilities, develops strategies to meet those needs, and prioritizes projects for funding and implementation.

Improving Inclusion by Addressing Gaps in Measuring Disability in Transportation Data Systems is a research study from the University of Illinois Chicago that will be used to develop a guidebook to support transit professionals in better understanding travel barriers faced by people with disabilities. Eligibility Requirements: Adults with a disability who are their own legal guardian, who live in the United States and you use public transportation. Those who complete the study will be entered into a lottery to receive a target gift card of $20 with a 1 in 10 chance of winning.
