Training Tips from B.A.A. Coach Mark Carroll
Men's Start 2017
"Visualize what your training plan will look like. It’s important to start easy and have a progressive build up to avoid injuries and get to race week in your best physical fitness. Remember that the most important weeks of training will be the last 10 weeks, so be patient early on and focus on peaking at the right time. Good luck as you start your marathon training, and enjoy it as you get fitter and fitter!" --Mark Carroll, B.A.A. High Performance coach, two-time Olympian & 2:10 marathoner
