The Prosperity

BluePrint

e-newsletter (August 2024)

A monthly newsletter from the Wisconsin Minority Business Development Agency

serving all 72 counties of Wisconsin

From the Executive Director: Dr. Kamaljit K. Jackson

It is with great enthusiasm and heartfelt appreciation that I extend this greeting to you from the Wisconsin Minority Business Development Agency - Business Center! We are thrilled to welcome you as a part of our vibrant community dedicated to fostering growth, innovation, and success among our business ecosystem.

The honor and privilege to lead an organization committed to empowering minority entrepreneurs and business owners is unequivocally purpose driven. A responsibility my team and I take very seriously and without unwavering reservation. The goal is to assure that our mission succeeds in building generational prosperity – with the wealth gap continuing to get wider, the timing to support our MBEs and business owners is more imminent now than it ever has been!

Our commitment to walk alongside MBEs coupled with solidified relationships with ecosystem partners makes for dynamic and innovative approaches to level the playing field of resources and support to our marginalized communities.  We know the challenges businesses face are not ours alone to solve, but as a community – where inclusivity and belonging is paramount to succeeding in a global economy. All of our partners, including you, are instrumental in advancing the shared goal of building and sustaining generational prosperity.

In the coming months, we will be hosting a variety of events, workshops, and networking opportunities. Stay tuned for our monthly newsletter, which will keep you informed about upcoming events, success stories, and valuable resources. We look forward to working closely with you.

Warmest wishes,

Kamaljit K. Jackson, Ph.D.

Executive Director, WI-MBDA
