Test Technicians with minimum SECRET Clearances will be required to test the replacement of a single diode mixer with a Double Balanced Mixer (DBM) within the receiver (RX) modules for the Army, Navy/Fixed Position Search (AN/FPS)-85 radar site at Eglin Air Force Base, located at Freeport, Florida (FL).
The primary focus of this work is to conduct two tests on modified radar receiver modules and provide input for development of a receiver test assessment report following testing. This report will address the radar receiver module assemblies, and final alignment/ calibration testing.
Each receiver has two radio frequency (RF) input paths: one for H-Pol signals and one for V-Pol signals. This DBM installation requires that the single diode mixer be replaced in the horizontal A1 subassembly and in the vertical A1 subassembly.
Will test all modified receivers and provide a test log for, as a minimum, group delay, gain and noise.
Will notify customer's engineers of any test anomalies or failed tests as soon as possible.
Will be responsible to conduct the final alignment/calibration testing on all receivers. Final alignment/calibration testing training will be provided by our customer prior to the commencement of testing (two weeks prior to testing).
Will perform Noise Reduction Verification Testing. Noise Verification Testing will be performed on all modified receivers.
Long term contract starting 2016 for approximately 8 months.

MetLoop is a new meteorological services company, headquartered in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. We provide a variety of services from Predictive Alerts to site-specific forecasts, forensic reports, historical maps and cutting edge technology.
MetLoop has 2 immediate openings for a weather forecaster, for our facility in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Because of the upcoming holidays, we will try to accommodate some arrangements for new employees to report not later than January 1, 2016.
Metloop also has immediate openings for 2 part-time positions. These part-time positions would be exclusive to weekends, and must meet the same requirements as below.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
1. Have a minimum of 8 to 10 years of operational forecasting experience. This is defined as completing routine tasks such as the analysis of meteorological data, issuing site-specific forecasts for a 24 hour basis, determination of severe weather conditions and the issuance of appropriate warnings and/or advisories for specific area.
2. Have a minimum of 5 years of certification in the use and interpretation of NEXRAD products. Certifying agencies are the National Weather Service or the appropriate branch of the military (i.e. Air Force, Navy or Marines). Certification includes training and practical application testing by the certifying agency.
3. Understand meteorological principles and how to use NEXRAD data in the application of identifying day-to-day weather conditions and issue various products in support of clients.
4. Forensic analysis. This is defined as the re-construction of past weather events for a site specific address. Strong analysis skills and use of NEXRAD is an integral part of this evaluation.
5. Strong communication and writing skills; understands the concept of working as a team.
6. It is a strong plus for those applicants that have a background in IT and/or the ability to build and maintain websites.
7. Must be a US citizen.
