Dear Business Affairs team,
I'm excited to share that Kevin Sowers, a seasoned executive with more than two decades of experience in operations, will be joining our team on June 23 as our next Associate Vice President.
Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of aligning operational and financial strategies to much success. As AVP, Kevin will oversee key areas, including Transportation and Parking Services, the Stephen C. O'Connell Center, Human Resources, and policy and event coordination.
His expertise will help us review and guide revenue and operations strategies, develop and implement policies and procedures, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement across our operations. Kevin will also play a key role in continuing to build partnerships both internally and externally, as well as across the state.
Most recently, Kevin served as Assistant Vice President of Business Operations at the University of Central Florida, where he oversaw several auxiliary operational units for budget administration and third-party contract management. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Central Florida. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with concentrations in Marketing and Public Relations from Radford University.
